Trainer PROFILE
Ryan is the founder of FinWELL Training and share’s his unique life experiences around money and mental health in our latest workshop to engage, educate, entertain, empower and inspire others.
Enjoying early success by winning the FA Youth Cup with West Ham United and becoming a professional football player at the age of 18, he faced the all too common challenge of ‘not making it’ in his chosen career and having to start over. Ryan has gone on to create an award-winning, financial education and wellbeing training company working with 100+ employers on a global basis openly sharing his personal challenges navigating life, work and family as a man, husband, father and business owner.
Ryan is part of the Global Workplace Wellbeing Initiative and helped set up the not for profit, community interest company ‘Financial Wellbeing Within Sport CIC’ alongside Alice Hendy MBE and is a proud ambassador and advisory board member of the R;pple Suicide Prevention Charity that Alice founded after losing her brother to suicide at the age of 21.
He also wrote the financial wellbeing chapter of the #1 Amazon Best Selling Book ‘52 Weeks of Wellbeing’ by Ryan Hopkins now published and translated in over 230 countries and territories.
