Ringway support employees with financial education and wellbeing training from FinWELL
Mental Health Awareness week saw a traditional spike in our initial kick off launch workshops helping employers to take the first step with preventative and proactive workplace financial wellbeing support.
It was pleasure to deliver our flagship training workshop to an extremely engaged and interactive cohort from Ringway working on the National Highways east regional contract.
Mike Thompson – Business Unit Manager at Ringway shared the following…
“World events linked to hyperinflation can be a constant concern as to how they will impact us from a financial perspective.
The highways sector can be extremely high risk and as such we can ill afford our teams to be distracted with financial concerns. It is therefore vitally important that we try and support our teams with signposting for financial education, guidance and advice to help with their all-round financial wellbeing.
We recently held a financial wellbeing training session with FinWELL, which was well received by all those who attended generating positive interactions and engagement which was a great supportive start for our teams.
Hannah Shires - Quality Manager at Ringway, Co-Chair of the National Highways Collaboration Board and CITB Top 100 Women in Construction 2025 added…
“Financial Wellbeing is a big topic for the our team.
It was the second biggest "stressor" on our mental health survey and whilst we can't fix everyone's problems, the FinWELL team found an energetic way to make us reflect on our financial personalities.
We made personal targeted commitments to help manage our own financial wellbeing and hopefully take our stress down a notch.”
